Description:
We are seeking a Process/System Engineer 4 to work as part of the “System Engineering as a Service” team.  Members of this team perform wide ranging System Engineering activities at the organization level and work with multiple projects to develop best practices and common System Engineering threads across related projects. 

The selected SE4 will work with a team of System Engineers to assist the team in process engineering activities to include triaging customer requirements, requirements mapping from Capability Requirements to product tasking, maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule and product roadmaps, participating in planning activities, participating in Compliance and Transitioning & Decommissioning (T&D) processes, interfacing with stakeholders and product teams, and administrative support for Jira, Confluence, and Service Desk. The team uses the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) agile methodology to deliver value to the CNO mission; successful candidates shall be highly motivated, possess strong communication skills and be a self-starter with a thorough understanding of enterprise architecture. MS Project, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Service Desk) experience required and Agile certification desired.

Required Qualifications:
TS/SCI Polygraph
A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area).
OR
A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.

*Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
*Note 2 - Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.
